Return Policy

1. The Limited Warranty, offered by Garageway , covers material and workmanship defects in our products. This warranty applies exclusively to the original consumer who purchased directly from Garageway official website (https://Garageway.com.au),

2. All series of gate openers and accessories are warranted by Garageway for a period of twelve (12) months, provided that recommended installation procedures have been followed.

 

3. This Limited Warranty takes effect from the product's receipt date, as per the order. The warranty for replacement parts does not extend upon replacement; it remains effective from the original receipt date of the goods.

 

4. The selling price includes the product and a one-year free warranty, excluding installation costs. Garageway will not be responsible for labor costs associated with troubleshooting or re-installation of replacement parts.

 

5. The Extended Warranty is only available at Garageway.com.au when purchased with the opener; no additional Extended Warranty can be purchased separately.

 

6. This warranty is virtual, not physical.

 

7. WHAT THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:

  • The warranty is limited to the target market (Australia ). Customers using the product outside the target market will be responsible for any extra expenses during the warranty replacement process.
  • This Limited Warranty does not cover damage resulting from negligence, abuse, abnormal usage, misuse, accidents, normal wear or tear, failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions, or improper installation, alteration, maintenance or storage.
  • This Limited Warranty does not cover products that are lost, stolen, rented, or diagnosed without defects.
  • This Limited Warranty does not cover damage or malfunction resulting from intentional acts or force majeure factors, including but not limited to fire, earthquake, flood, wind, storm, lightning, or war events.
  • Second-hand products are not eligible for refunds, motor or full machine replacements under this warranty. Replacement parts will be sent free of charge to those who actively assist in troubleshooting.
  • This Limited Warranty does not cover damage caused by third-party accessories (except those recommended by Garageway Customer Support).
  • This Limited Warranty does not cover product returns or upgrades for personal reasons.
  • This Limited Warranty does not cover product surface fading without functional problems.

 

8. Once the order is fully refunded, the warranty ends.

 

9. We may need to verify your identity and order information during service delivery. Your cooperation is kindly requested. Failure to provide accurate and complete information may result in inability to access our services.

 

10. We may ask for relevant information about you and the warranted product during service delivery. If your failure to provide accurate information results in our loss, we have the right to recover the loss from you. If fraudulent information is discovered, we reserve the right to seek legal action to recover losses.

 

11. Your consent to the collection of necessary personal information (name, telephone number, address, email address) is required for the provision of warranty service. We strictly adhere to existing laws and regulations regarding the protection of personal information, data, and privacy to safeguard the information you provide from illegal disclosure.

 

12. To obtain a replacement under this Limited Warranty, you must:

  • Provide order information (Product Model, Purchase Date & Site, Order #);
  • Contact Garageway customer support via info@garageway.com.au , ensuring to provide a brief description of the problem along with pictures and videos;
  • Engage in simple troubleshooting under the guidance of customer support;
  • Provide feedback on each step of troubleshooting;
  • Identify defective parts and address issues for resolution.

 

13. If accurate order information cannot be provided, Garageway will decide whether to provide warranty service at its discretion.

 

14. In case of malfunction, please consult us promptly for troubleshooting and replacement.

 

15. In cases where there is disagreement in the identification of defects between you and us, and no agreement can be reached, the manufacturer's official test results will prevail.


16. We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

17. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

 

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

 

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

 

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
