If your motor has a plastic cover, remove it.
-
Press and hold the DOOR CODE button on the motor (or SW1/SW2 on the receiver).
-
Press the desired button on the PTX5 remote for 2 seconds, then release.
-
Wait 2 seconds.
-
Press the same button again for 2 seconds, then release.
-
Release the DOOR CODE button.
-
Test the remote — the gate or door should now respond.
🔁 Programming a New Remote via an Existing Remote
-
Stand within 1–2 meters of the motor.
-
Press the working remote to activate the gate or door.
-
As it starts moving, insert a pin into the center hole on the original remote until the LED lights up.
-
On the new remote, press and hold your chosen button for 2 seconds.
-
Release, wait 2 seconds, then press the same button again for 2 seconds.
-
Wait 10–15 seconds, then test the new remote.
🗑️ Deleting All Remotes from the Motor
If programming fails, the memory may be full. To delete all stored remotes:
-
Disconnect power from the opener.
-
Hold down the DOOR CODE or SW1 button.
-
While holding, reconnect power to the motor.
-
After a few seconds, the LED will light up — memory is now cleared.
-
Release the button.
⚠️ IMPORTANT
If the remote didn’t program, your motor’s memory may be full.
You must delete all existing remote codes using the method above. Then, reprogram each remote — both old and new — one by one.
